  • Dizziness
  • Drowsiness
  • Swelling of hands or feet
  • Weight gain
  • Blurred vision

Key interactions & cautions

  • Avoid alcohol and other sedatives
  • Opioids increase sedation risk
  • Adds drowsiness with other CNS depressants
  • Caution with ACE inhibitors (swelling)

  • Do not drive until you know its effect

  • May be taken with or without food
