High-alert caution: can cause dangerously high potassium, especially with ACE inhibitors, ARBs, potassium supplements or salt substitutes. Note current Aldactone labeling carries NO boxed warning — the old tumorigen-in-rats text was moved to Nonclinical Toxicology, though some older generic labels still show the retired box.
